This is the course support area for all Fall 2009 courses taught by Darla DeRuiter
Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary course designed to develop an understanding and awareness of our environment and humankind's relationship to it. Includes a study of the structure and function of ecosystems, human population, resource use, and an examination of selected environmental problems. Every society depends on the environment for survival and emphasis in this class is placed on critical challenges in environmental management and solutions to these problems. A realistic but hopeful view is presented.
