- This course examines the structure and operation of the international political system. The focus will be on global issues (conflict and cooperation) and the role of the nation-state, non-state actors in topics such as war, peace, development, trade, environmental issues, the international political economy, and regional and international arrangements.
This course explores the foundations, institutions and politics of American government. The emphasis in this course is thinking critically about current political issues in our democracy, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.
